Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Kurono also uses local storage and offline storage to remember your settings, watch progress and saved episodes. The cookie settings apply to optional advertising tracking as well as cookies.

Necessary storage

A secure session cookie keeps you signed in. Local storage remembers the site settings you choose and your watch data; offline storage holds episodes you save. We also store your cookie choice so the prompt does not appear on every visit. Choosing Necessary only keeps these site features working.

Optional advertising

Adsterra banners load only when advertising is allowed in your cookie settings and the owner has enabled ads. Adsterra and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar tracking and receive your IP address, device information and the page carrying the ad. Choosing Necessary only prevents these banner scripts from loading.

Read Adsterra's privacy policy and cookie policy for their details.

Site statistics

Kurono counts anonymous daily usage totals for planning the site. This cookie setting does not change account sync, operational requests or video requests. The privacy policy explains the data involved, including the separate ad blocker check.

Managing cookies

Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your advertising choice at any time. Accept all enables optional advertising; Necessary only disables it. Existing banner choices are respected. Your choice is saved on this device, not shared through your Kurono account.

Withdrawing permission removes Kurono's banner placements and prevents further banner loads. It does not delete cookies that an advertising partner has already stored; you can remove those using your browser's site data settings. Clearing Kurono's local storage also clears your saved choice.
