Dagashi Kashi

Kokonotsu Shikada wants to be a manga artist but is expected to inherit his family's rural candy store, and he refuses until his father agrees to come work for a major candy company. The eccentric and beautiful Hotaru Shidare arrives to recruit his father and instead becomes obsessed with convincing Kokonotsu of the wonders of traditional Japanese dagashi sweets. The series is equal parts candy trivia, comedy, and nostalgic charm.
