Katanagatari

Shichika Yasuri, the seventh head of the Kyotouryuu sword style who fights without a blade, is recruited by the scheming strategist Togame to help her collect twelve unique Deviant Blades scattered across feudal Japan. Each episode covers one month and one blade, with Shichika growing both as a fighter and as a person through each encounter. The series is a visually distinctive and dialogue-rich adventure that builds to an emotionally devastating conclusion.
