Slow Start

Hana Ichinose missed her high school entrance exams due to a severe illness and spent a year at home, leaving her to start high school a full year behind her peers — a secret she desperately protects. She gradually opens up as she makes her first real friends in class. A quiet, warm slice-of-life comedy that treats its characters' anxieties with genuine empathy.
