Strike Witches

In an alternate WWII setting, alien invaders called Neuroi have devastated Europe and only teenage girls wielding Striker Units — magical leg-mounted aircraft engines — can fight them effectively. Yoshika Miyafuji joins the 501st Joint Fighter Wing to search for her missing father and protect the skies. Famous for its complete lack of pants on its characters and its earnest WWII aviation detail.
