Managing your profile
Updating your username
Open Account → Account & sign-in → Username. Enter your new name and your current password if requested, then click Change name. Your comments, ratings, picture and profile link move with you. Your password stays the same.
Profile avatar
Open Account → Profile → Profile picture and click Upload picture or Change picture. You can upload JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF up to 3 MB. Choose Remove to return to the default avatar.
Preferences
Open Account → Playback for playback settings, Appearance & discovery for your accent color and genres, and Privacy to control your public profile.
Deleting your account
Open Account → Account & sign-in → Security and click Delete account. Confirm your current password or linked Google account, type DELETE, then choose Delete my account. Your account is removed from the site and all devices are logged out. You cannot undo deletion from your account settings, so export anything you want to keep first.
Changing your email address
Open Account → Account & sign-in → Security → Email address. Enter your new email and confirm your current password or linked Google account. Choose Send verification code, then enter the 6-digit code sent to the new address and choose Confirm email address. The code expires in 15 minutes. Other devices are logged out after the change.
Reviewing signed-in devices
Open Account → Account & sign-in → Security → Active sessions. This device marks your current session. Choose Revoke session to log out another device, Log out to end the current session, or Log out all devices to end every session. Log Out at the top of Account logs out this device.
